Life rarely unfolds in a straight line; plans shift, roads close, and circumstances change, and suddenly you find yourself walking a path you never planned to take.

For a long time, detours felt like wasted time, almost like punishment for not being efficient enough or prepared enough, and all I could think about was finding my way back to the track I believed I should be on.

But along the way I began to notice the view, the people I met, the lessons I learned, and the quiet moments that reminded me to breathe; these detours did not take me away from my life, they became part of it, shaping me, softening me, and teaching me patience.

A truly happy person is not the one who always reaches the destination quickly, but the one who pauses long enough to enjoy the scenery, even when the path looks completely different from what was expected.
