MINI GOLF @ SAFRA MOUNT FABER

This event marked the first-ever Mini Golf Adventure at SAFRA Mount Faber, not only introducing the sport to SAFRA members and the public but also promoting Premier Golf, the golf simulator tenant located in the club.

 

The event was a strategic effort to engage visitors and generate excitement for the SAFRA 33rd Annual Golf Championship (AGC).

Key Actions
  • Event Planning and Vendor Liaison: Led the project from the ground up, working with vendors to create an engaging mini-golf course. Managed the visual design and placement, ensuring the course was immersive and fun for participants. Secured a car sponsor for the Hole In One prize for the 33rd AGC, adding significant appeal to the event.
     

  • Sponsorship Acquisition: Secured a car sponsor to display the vehicle on-site, serving as the grand Hole In One prize. This elevated the event's appeal and drew attention from potential participants and sponsors alike.
     

  • Marketing Strategy: Designed and executed a comprehensive marketing plan both online and onsite. Created posters and promotional materials to advertise the mini-golf event at the club and on social media platforms, drawing people to participate. Social media engagement included contests and promotions to increase foot traffic and participation in the event.
     

  • Onsite Write-Ups for Non-Golfers: To appeal to non-golfers, prepared informative write-ups displayed on boards around the course. These write-ups provided basic golf knowledge, the benefits of learning the sport, and how it can be a fun, family-friendly activity. This helped amplify interest from attendees who may not have considered golf before.
     

  • Weekend Mini-Events: Hosted fun mini-events on weekends to boost engagement and encourage participation in the game. Participants had the chance to win exciting prizes from sponsors and received goodie bags, which helped increase interaction and excitement.
     

 

Execution
  • Onsite Setup: Oversaw the setup and execution of the entire event, ensuring that the course layout, sponsor materials, and car display were placed as per the strategic plan. Monitored and coordinated logistics, ensuring a smooth flow during the event days.
     

  • Event Coordination: Managed the activities during the event, including overseeing participant engagement and ensuring sponsor brands were effectively highlighted through various promotional materials and in-person interactions.
     

  • Prize Distribution and Sponsor Management: Coordinated the distribution of prizes for the mini-events and ensured sponsor visibility was maximized throughout the event, delivering value to partners and participants.

 

Results
  • Increased Engagement: The event was a hit, drawing a diverse crowd eager to try mini-golf while also generating interest in Premier Golf’s simulators. Social media campaigns and onsite promotions successfully increased attendance and participation, contributing to the promotion of the SAFRA 33rd Annual Golf Championship.

 

  • Sponsor Visibility: The car placement for the Hole In One prize attracted significant attention, creating a visually appealing and interactive experience for attendees where they could sit in the car.
