Welcome to Trixy&: The Story Behind My Journey

Hey, welcome!

This is Trixy Gabriela Tan; the face behind Trixy&, and I wanted to take a moment to share how this all came together.

Like a lot of life’s big decisions, this journey didn’t come with a clear map or a perfect plan. I actually left a job I loved; a role where I was doing meaningful work that felt aligned with my skills. But life has a funny way of pushing us in new directions, and when I stepped away, I was suddenly stuck. I kept asking myself, What’s next?

I won't lie; for a while, I struggled. I had all these ideas swirling around but couldn’t quite figure out how to move forward.

So, I reached out to people I admired - leaders, mentors, and folks at the top of their game. After lots of conversations, a common thread began to surface: the work that lit me up the most was helping businesses grow through marketing.

The more I thought about it, the more it clicked.

I wanted to continue doing what I do best - helping businesses that need marketing but don’t have the budget or time to manage it themselves.

I know from experience that some businesses often struggle with marketing because they’re already stretched thin or that the person that they hired are not keeping up on par; or the most dear to me (even as i do my work); is working for the sake of working and not caring and loving the brand that they are working with/for.

These businesses do not need fluff - they need someone who can jump in, understand their brand, and make things happen!

And so, Trixy& was born.

I took everything I’d learned from my years in marketing, combined it with the creative skills I’d built along the way, and shaped a business that’s all about making marketing doable and meaningful for the people who need it most.

At the heart of everything I do are three things:

Creativity - I believe every brand should feel personal. That means no templates or copy-paste solutions here

Connection - I care about the people I work with. Business isn’t just about transactions - it’s about relationships.

Sustainable Growth - I’m all for success, but I want you to build a business that works for you, not one that drains you.

My goal is to make marketing feel less like a burden and more like a tool that moves your business forward. Whether it’s building your brand, creating content, or planning events, I want to be the person who helps you stay excited about what you’re building!
